MAGIC Lab awarded $200k from the National Science Foundation
Dr. Wiacek and the MAGIC Lab were awarded a $200k Engineering Research Initiation (ERI) grant to develop 3D breast ultrasound systems and algorithms for low-resource environments from the National Science Foundation (NSF)! Luc and Rehnuma win Provost Research awards

Molly wins Undergraduate Poster award from Sigma Xi
Congratulations to MAGIC Lab undergraduate researcher, Molly Vue, for winning the Undergraduate Poster award from the Sigma Xi International Forum on Research Excellence (IFoRE)! Molly presented her work titled "Development of a neural network to jointly improve ultrasound and elastography image quality" at the IFoRE conference in Long Beach, CA.

Dr. Wiacek helped to organize a session titled "Nerd Out - Wearable and At-Home Ultrasound: Controversies and What's Possible" at the 2023 American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM) UltraCon. The panel included speakers spanning academic research, government, and industry!
