Welcome to the MAGIC Lab @ OU

The  Medical Acoustics for Global health, Imaging, and Clinical translation (MAGIC) lab at Oakland University focuses on leveraging innovations in artificial intelligence and signal processing to understand and improve the diagnosis and treatment of disease. Specifically, we develop imaging technologies that can be deployed in resource-limited settings, create novel algorithms that improve disease detection and diagnosis, design systems for device tracking, image registration, and multi-modal image fusion, and collaborate with physicians, biologists, and neuroscientists to leverage engineering principles to further scientific understanding.
